Mayor Eric Garcetti's vision for Los Angeles as an international powerhouse and how that benefits Angelenos, as well as his vision for raising Los Angeles' global stature.

Mayor Garcetti was sworn in as the 42nd Mayor of Los Angeles on July 1, 2013, after being elected four times by his peers to serve as President of the City Council from 2006 to 2012. Read more about his background.
