A special address by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, made possible by the generous support of the RM Liu Foundation.

Presented in partnership with the Los Angeles Mayor's Office, this first-of-its-kind Pacific Council event features L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti's vision for strengthening Los Angeles as a global city.

In his inaugural address, Mayor Garcetti will discuss L.A.'s bid to host the 2024 Olympic Games. Currently one of three cities vying for the Games, Los Angeles envisions an innovative, fiscally-responsible, and sustainable concept for the 2024 Olympics. Dr. Cynthia Telles has been on the faculty of the UCLA School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry since 1986. She is the Director of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute Spanish-speaking Psychosocial Clinic. Read more about her background.
