We Can Do It: Achieving Gender Equality in Film and Beyond

A panel discussion exploring gender equality in entertainment and global culture, co-presented with the European Union and the American Cinematheque’s Starring Europe Film Festival 2019.

As society continues to respond to movements such as #MeToo and #TimesUp, this panel will discuss both European and American approaches to the political, legal, and artistic perspectives of women’s rights and gender equality. The panel discussion will begin at 6:30pm, followed by a light reception at 7:30pm.
