Elizabeth N. Saunders is an Associate Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at George Washington University, and a visiting fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, where in 2015-2016 she was a Stanton Nuclear Security Fellow.  Her research and teaching interests focus on international security and U.S. foreign policy, including the presidency and foreign policy, and the politics of using force.
