The Pacific Council held a special celebration on the evening on April 29, 2015 to mark its 20th Anniversary. The dinner featured keynote remarks by the Right Honorable Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1997-2007). Over 500 Angelino leaders in business, entertainment, law, academia, media, and non-profit, were in attendance, and the celebration was hosted by the co-Chairmen of the Pacific Council Board of Directors, the Honorable Mickey Kantor, former U.S. Trade Representative and former U.S. Secretary of Commerce, and Ambassador Robert H. Tuttle, former Ambassador to the United Kingdom. Mr. Blair spoke about how the world has changed in the last 20 years and what are the pressing global issues that are happening now (e.g. climate change, religion and geopolitical issues, education, etc.); he then discussed the role of the Pacific Council and how the West Coast can contribute to these global concerns.
