Background:

On January 20, 2021, the 46th President of the United States, Joseph R. Biden, will assume office. His administration will be met with a host of competing priorities on the homefront. Though when looking abroad, the top priority seems clear: China. President-elect Biden must balance engaging China with standing up for American economic and security interests. Joining us to discuss her recommendations for President-elect Biden as well as the tools available to him as he responds to a rising China will be former diplomat, author, and advisor on emerging markets, Ms. Anja Manuel.
