Mr. Daryl L. Osby, 9th Fire Chief, Los Angeles County Fire Department

Mr. Osby has served as a member of the LA County Fire Department for 31 years and became Fire Chief in 2011. Read more.

Dr. Alonzo Plough, Director of Emergency Preparedness and Response, Los Angeles County Public Health

Dr. Plough served 10 years as director and health officer for the Seattle and King County Department of Public Health, and was a professor of health services at the University of Washington School of Public Health in Seattle. Read more.

Mr. Jeff Reeb, Director, Los Angeles County Office of Emergency Management

Mr. Reeb has served as Director of the LA County Office of Emergency Management since June 2013 and was previously Fire Marshal of the Long Beach Fire Department. Read more.

Dr. Peter Katona, Professor of Clinical Medicine in Infectious Diseases and Adjunct Professor of Public Health, UCLA

Dr. Katona has worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as an EIS Officer studying viral diseases and has authored articles on medical informatics, medical education, influenza, polio, nutrition, bioterrorism, disasters, and the future of health care. Read more.
