Special Meeting with EU Ambassador David O'Sullivan
May 12, 2016
12:30pm to 2:00pm

Los Angeles, CA

A special meeting with Amb. David O'Sullivan, Ambassador of the European Union to the United States.

Amb. O’Sullivan is only the second diplomat to hold the position of EU Ambassador to the United States, established in 2009. In a letter to President Obama, Amb. O'Sullivan noted the importance of the transatlantic relationship on issues ranging from Ukraine and the Iran nuclear negotiations to free trade in the form of TTIP, which he called a “once in a generation opportunity to strengthen the greatest economic corridor in the world."

What are the key policy areas of cooperation between the United States and European Union? How is this transatlantic partnership working to meet the challenges of the world?
