A gala featuring former Secretaries of State George P. Shultz and Madeleine K. Albright in partnership with The National Endowment for Democracy and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation.

Featuring:

Mr. George P. Shultz, Former Secretary of State

Mr. Shultz served as chairman of the President’s Economic Policy Advisory Board during the Reagan administration before becoming Secretary of State in 1982. While in this position, he played a crucial role in implementing a foreign policy that led to the conclusion of the Cold War and the development of strong relationships between the U.S. and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. He was awarded the Medal of Freedom in 1989. Read more.

Ms. Madeleine K. Albright, Former Secretary of State

Ms. Albright served as the United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations and as a member of President Clinton's Cabinet and National Security Council prior to becoming Secretary of State in 1996. She is the first female secretary of state and the highest ranking woman in the history of the U.S. government. Read more.
