Lulit Tadesse is a graduate student of journalism at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She obtained her BA in Film and Digital Media at UC Santa Cruz. She focused on themes of race and diversity and how that transcended onto the silver screen. Her interests are screenwriting and cultural and international reporting. Tadesse is a creative writer as she wrote a screenplay for a pilot television show focusing on her parents' migration as political refugees from Ethiopia to America during wartime. Overall, Tadesse's goal is to spotlight personal narratives of people from all over the world and connect that with the overarching global and political issues that effects the communities in which they are a part of.
