Ashley McKenzie is the Senior Initiatives Officer for the Pacific Council on International Policy. In this role, she oversees the organization’s platform issues and manages short-term projects pertaining to local and global issues. In addition, she is responsible for top-line support of the organization’s strategic plan, board relations, and partnership cultivation. She has recently been directing the work of the Pacific Council’s response to COVID-19 by leveraging the Council’s close-knit community in support of securing PPE for those in need. Prior to this role, she led the Pacific Council’s Delegations program, facilitating exchanges between members, donors, and experts around the world to garner a deeper understanding of foreign policy issues at home and abroad. Her background is in international development and public policy advocacy. A native of Southern California, she resides in Long Beach, CA, and enjoys water sports on the Pacific.
