Online Webinar
The Pacific Council invites you to a virtual conversation on Friday, May 23, at 9 am featuring Dr. Jerrold D. Green examining President Trump’s recent trip to the Middle East. Similar to his first term President Trump’s first major trip overseas is focused on Saudi Arabia, with additional stops in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
The event will analyze the strategic implications, diplomatic developments, and potential impacts on regional stability. Dr. Green will explore how this visit fits into the broader context of US foreign policy and its impact on regional relationships.
Why It's Important:

- White House officials announced a series of deals with Saudi Arabia totaling $600 billion, including a $142 billion on defense spending.
- A significant delegation of American business leaders accompanied President Trump, with over 30 attending a luncheon in Saudi Arabia on May 13th.
