Nora Alzahid is a hails from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She is part of the UN workforce serving as a Programme Associate (UNDP) with focus on SDG 11 sustainable cities and communities as well as the focal point of Diplomatic missions and government delegations.
She is knowledgeable in organizing international conferences. She has previously organized several conferences and forums such as (Blue talk: a dialogue in support of the UN ocean conference in collaboration with the embassy of Portugal and Kenya, the launch of the report assessing the impact of war in Yemen: pathways of recovery and RIHF3 : Riyadh International Humanitarian forum)
Nora enjoys mostly working in the field providing humanitarian assistance and peacekeeping. Her first field experience was during the Sudan conflict 2023 where she assisted in the evacuation of UN and INGO personnel from Sudan.
Her main interest in public diplomacy is city and cultural diplomacy particularly in the Middle East and Gulf region.
Fun fact about Nora she learned how to play the Angklung while being part of the Indonesian Embassy cultural club.
