Omer Fein is Israel’s Chief Economic Consul to the United States’ West Coast, based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. He leads one of Israel’s most strategic global economic missions, overseeing trade and investment relations across 17 U.S. states and managing a team of seven professionals. His work drives partnerships between Israeli innovation and the U.S. private sector, facilitating over 2,000 B2B meetings annually and generating more than $100 million in investment.

Omer brings over 15 years of global business and diplomatic experience, having advised three Israeli Ministers of Economy and managed an $80 million annual budget supporting 55 Economic Missions worldwide. He played a strategic role in implementing the Abraham Accords, establishing Israel’s economic ties with the UAE, and led crisis-response collaborations with the EU, WTO, and OECD.

Previously, Omer directed the Ministry’s investment outreach for the Americas and MENA, built Israel’s global investor network from the ground up, and mentored international MBA teams at Tel Aviv University. He holds an MBA in international management and a BSc in electrical engineering, and served in Israel’s elite Unit 8200 intelligence corps.
