
Medha Jaishankar is an award-winning filmmaker, entrepreneur, and media consultant whose work bridges creative and technological innovation across global markets.
As President of Omnivations Inc. (parent of Virtual Sonics + Audio Futures), she leads initiatives that unite art, science, and software, recently launching WalkMix Creator (www.walkmix.com), a software plugin that democratizes spatial audio production for formats including Sony’s 360 Reality Audio. Her recent film credits include He Went That Way (Jacob Elordi, Zachary Quinto) and Please Don’t Feed the Children (directed by Destry Allyn Spielberg, starring Michelle Dockery and Giancarlo Esposito).
In 2025, Medha joined A.R. Rahman’s Secret Mountain as an advisor, supporting its vision to merge music, storytelling, and technology. Her previous collaborations and consultancies span global organizations such as BBC, Reliance, Mahindra, The Sundance Institute, Sony, and Safran, as well as notable media figures including Jack Giarraputo (Happy Madison Productions), Phil Quartararo (Virgin Music, EMI, Warner), and the late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins among others.
Beyond her work in film, audio, and technology, Medha is deeply engaged in advancing social impact. She serves on the Board of the Aaroogya AI Foundation, a nonprofit focused on using artificial intelligence to improve early detection and outcomes in breast cancer. She is an Advisory Board Member of the Asian World Film Festival, and actively mentors emerging filmmakers through programs such as Roadmap Writers, AZN AMERICANA, and #StartWith8Hollywood.
Having lived in eight countries and fluent in four languages, Medha brings a multicultural and solutions-oriented perspective to her work - focused on empowering creators, building cross-border partnerships, and fostering innovation that serves both art and society.
