The 2026 Gala will honor Board Co-Chair Robert W. Lovelace with the Global Ambassador Award, recognizing his decades of dedication to international engagement, and will celebrate the appointment of Ambassador (ret.) Kristina A. Kvien as the organization's new President & CEO. Ambassador (ret.) Michael Carpenter, Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, will then take the stage for a fireside chat with Madeleine Brand of Press Play, exploring one of the defining questions of the moment: Are our alliances in crisis?
