Deep Dive Member Workshop: Negotiation Facilitation Skills
Global Water Scarcity

TBD

This member training is part of Deep Dive, a week of activities under our Global Water Scarcity Initiative. Deep Dive will be postponed until early 2019. Stay tuned for more details.

Join an afternoon workshop focused on building skills for facilitation during negotiation. Parties in dispute often need the support of a neutral third party to facilitate the negotiation process. The facilitator provides structure to the negotiating and guides group processes and interactions throughout. While facilitators and facilitation skills are particularly useful in complex multi-issue, multi-stakeholder disputes, they are also relevant to lower stakes and everyday scenarios such as team meetings, workshops, and group discussions.

This workshop is recommended for attendees of the Beaufort Sea simulation on December 14, but open to other members who are interested. Attendees are invited to join an optional happy hour taking place after the training from 6:30-7:30pm.

Please contact Amie Kashon at akashon@pacificcouncil.org for more information and to register. Space is limited.
