Introducing the Pacific Council Podcast
COVID-19
April 24, 2020

We are pleased to announce the Pacific Council’s new podcast, available now on all of the major podcast hosting platforms including iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Stitcher, and TuneIn. Simply search "Pacific Council on International Policy" on any of these free podcast services.

This new Council offering features an original podcast series by the Council’s Director of Programs, Thomas Zimmerman, called “Local Planet.” Each week, Thomas will share first-person perspectives on the COVID-19 pandemic from around the world, highlight ways that people are stepping up to support their communities in the face of this outbreak, and present some global pop culture recommendations. Episode one features a conversation with someone caught in China's strict quarantine system; Sam Polk of Los Angeles social enterprise Everytable, which is stepping in to get healthy foods to seniors during the pandemic; and a lighter exchange about Eurovision 2020.

Our podcast platforms also include recordings of Pacific Council teleconferences, always available on our Newsroom, where recordings are accompanied by short bulleted summaries of each call.
