To the Pacific Council Community
As a valued member of the Pacific Council, you understand the need for geopolitical literacy in today’s climate. The Council relies on the support of members like you, so that we may continue to provide a critical service of expanding the landscape of international policy in the spirit of democracy and inclusion. That is why I am reaching out today to request your support for the Pacific Council on International Policy’s 2022 – 2023 Annual Giving.
Commitment towards Pacific Council’s local and global engagement is more important than ever. Locally, divisive conditions within the United States have left many of us raising questions around the state of democracy and foreign policy. Globally, Russia continues to war with Ukraine, China’s influence and power continues to grow, while the fight for equality rages in Iran. Meanwhile the pandemic continues, as we witness the effects of climate change.
The Pacific Council—alongside our community of experts and independent thinkers—continues to meet the needs of today by providing a space for healthy, spirited discussion that spark action and global collaboration.
Your contributions helped launch our inaugural AMPLIFY program, which serves to nurture emerging thought leaders who have been traditionally underrepresented in foreign affairs. We believe in investing in the next generation of thought leaders, and we thank you for supporting us in this endeavor.
