New Arrival Supper Club
April 25, 2023

Hollywood, Los Angeles

The international community including the United States continues to grapple with refugee crises. From Afghanistan and Ukraine to the numerous other armed conflicts and environmental disasters there is a critical need for refugee support which is why the work of Miry’s List is so important.

The Pacific Council is proud to partner again with Miry’s List, an organization whose mission is to improve the experience for new arrival families by filling gaps in the governmental system of support for refugees and providing a mechanism for communities to directly help families with the things, people, and programming needed to thrive in the United States.

This event, known as a New Arrival Supper Club will offer members the opportunity to meet with and learn from resettling neighbors over the universal language of food and will include a brief program discussing the impact Miry's List has in Los Angeles.

Space is limited - if you have questions please email Sam Peterson, speterson@pacificcouncil.org.
