On Thursday, March 5, at 8 am PT, the Pacific Council is hosting a rapid response webinar to discuss the current U.S.-Israeli operation against Iran and what we can anticipate as debates intensify over strategic objectives, the legal basis for military action, and the long-term costs of sustained engagement. Members will hear from Ambassador (ret.) Barbara Leaf, the Senior International Policy Advisor at Arnold & Porter and former Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, and Dr. Jerrold D. Green, Interim President & CEO and Middle East and South Asia Senior Fellow at the Pacific Council.

Inside U.S. Immigration Policy and Enforcement: Power, Institutions, and Impact

On Tuesday, March 10, at 9 am PT, the Pacific Council will host a conversation that breaks down current U.S. immigration policy, enforcement methods, and their implications for civil liberties and due process. Members will hear from Dr. Amada Armenta, Director of UCLA's Latino Policy & Politics Institute (LPPI), and Dr. Tom Wong, Director of the U.S. Immigration Policy Center at the University of California, San Diego.

Arctic Sovereignty and Security: The U.S., Greenland, and Transatlantic Concerns

The Pacific Council invites you to dial in on Thursday, March 19, at 10 am PT to explore these recent developments and discuss their broader implications for Greenlandic national security and the United States' diplomatic relations within Europe. Members will hear from Dr. Esther Brimmer, the James H. Binger Senior Fellow in global governance at the Council on Foreign Relations, and Dr. Justina Budginaite-Froehly, a Nonresident Senior Fellow of the Europe Center and the Transatlantic Security Initiative within the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security.

Huang will be joined in conversation by Philip Yun, Co-President & Co-CEO, Commonwealth Club World Affairs of California (CCWA), and Asia Pacific Senior Fellow at the Pacific Council.
