This session offers a closer look into COVID-19 and the vaccine rollout in the new year. Dr. Peter Katona, UCLA professor of medicine and public health, will host a follow-up to his December event, Distributing the Vaccine, and share his insights on the first few weeks of vaccine administration.

Dr. Katona is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Adjunct Professor of Public Health at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. He has worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He has authored articles on medical informatics, medical education, influenza, polio, nutrition, bioterrorism, disasters, and the future of health care.
