Joanne is a professional Civil Engineer and manages the delivery of recreational and cultural facilities at the City of Los Angeles. An LA native, she strives to master the art of international exchange through travel and went to Australia last year on a fellowship to foster creativity in public works. In any City she visits, Joanne enjoys playing in playgrounds, checking out interactive art exhibits, examining local infrastructure, and participating in cultural exchange that involve food or dancing to help her shape the design of our global city.
