AnchorFree played a role in some of the world's most important events protecting millions of people from security and privacy breaches and disrupting censorship. AnchorFree has been selected by Forbes among America's Most Promising Companies and among the Most Important Security Start-ups by Business Insider. FastCompany named AnchorFree as the world's most innovative security company. David raised $63M from Goldman Sachs and other investors, before selling controlling interest in the Company for $310M.

In 2012 David co-created and funded the #ChicagoGirl documentary which won the Amnesty International Award and awards at the Amsterdam & Berlin film festivals (the movie is about a 19 year old Syrian girl from Chicago using technology to play a role in the Syrian revolution).

David met with the US Supreme Court Justices as part of being selected for an award with the Academy of Achievement and later with three former US Secretaries of State: Hillary Clinton, Madeleine Albright, and Henry Kissinger.
