On Wednesday, February 25, at 8:30 am PT, the Pacific Council is hosting an intimate breakfast roundtable featuring eminent political consultant Mike Murphy, Founder of the American EV Jobs Alliance, and Pacific Council Board Director Brian Goldsmith. This event will examine China’s dominance in electric vehicle manufacturing, its implications for the future of the global auto industry, and how policy, politics, and innovation influence U.S. competitiveness.

On Thursday, February 26, at 9 am PT, the Pacific Council will convene leading voices from Venezuela's democratic opposition and the human rights and international law community to assess what comes next for the nation. Members will hear from Génesis Dávila, Founder of Defiende Venezuela; Freddy Guevara, Democracy Visiting Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, and Former Deputy of the National Assembly of Venezuela; Dr. Paola Bautista de Alemán, Hewlett Visiting Fellow for Public Policy at the Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame; and Miguel Pizarro, Director of Espacio Crítico.
