The Other War: Winning and Losing in Afghanistan

September 20 (San Francisco) | Lunch program
September 21 (Los Angeles) | Evening program
Can the war in Afghanistan be "won"? What will success entail? The Pacific Council is pleased to host Ambassador Ronald E. Neumann, President of the American Academy of Diplomacy and former US Ambassador to Afghanistan (2005-2007), for a discussion of the errors made by the international community in dealing with the conflict in Afghanistan as "the other war" relative to Iraq, and how that loss of focus will challenge the possibilities of success in that country.
