Culture Club

The Pacific Council is launching a new program, which we are calling the Culture Club. We will share recommendations for movies, television series, podcasts, and other media that explore important issues that are both local and global in scope. Then we will host small group discussions about the topic and media among Pacific Council members. Sign up for information and updates about the club by emailing us at events@pacificcouncil.org, and register for individual discussions directly on their event webpages as they become available.

First Up: "Immigration Nation"

"Immigration Nation" is a six-part docuseries on Netflix that gives viewers inside access to operations at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement plus stories of immigrants to give a deeper understanding of the state of immigration in the United States today. Visit the event webpage to register for this discussion at 4:30 p.m. PT on October 29. Following the discussion, register here to join us for a discussion with the filmmakers of "Immigration Nation" starting at 5:00 p.m. PT.

We encourage members to watch the series, and then join us October 29 when we will meet virtually to discuss the issues presented in "Immigration Nation."

If you have any questions, please let us know at events@pacificcouncil.org.
