The Pacific Council is launching a new program, which we are calling the Culture Club. We will share recommendations for movies, television series, podcasts, and other media that explore important issues that are both local and global in scope. Then we will host small group discussions about the topic and media among Pacific Council members. Sign up for information and updates about the club by emailing us at email@example.com, and register for individual discussions directly on their event webpages as they become available.
"Immigration Nation" is a six-part docuseries on Netflix that gives viewers inside access to operations at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement plus stories of immigrants to give a deeper understanding of the state of immigration in the United States today. On October 29, we hosted a discussion with the filmmakers of "Immigration Nation." Missed our discussion with the filmmakers? Watch the conversation below, and tune into the docuseries on Netflix. After hearing from viewers who wanted to help the families featured in the docuseries, the filmmakers set up a GoFundMe. Learn more about the needs of immigrant families and contribute to the cause here.
