Jennifer Schwab Wangers is a Founder-CEO with one goal in mind: to inspire, support, educate and empower young women through action. In 2016, she founded ENTITY, an education company that serves as a bridge builder between college and career. ENTITY Academy hosts students from across the country for four-week immersive courses in Digital Marketing, U/X Design, and Data Science. These highly-curated mentorship programs provide college students and recent grads with a leg up in today's highly competitive career landscape by prioritizing both hard and soft skills that are missing in traditional four-year education programs.
Prior to ENTITY, Jennifer co-founded Sierra Club Green Home, a preeminent sustainable lifestyle website that was the first time Sierra Club ever entered into a joint venture with an outside party. A huge advocate for sustainability, she has been featured in The Huffington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Dwell, Fortune, Forbes, CNN Money, CNBC, and Consumer Reports, among others. She has also appeared on WSJ Lunch Break, NBC-U, CBS, NYT, and Fox News. Jennifer was previously a frequent green expert guest on ABC’s Good Morning America.
In 2013, she completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Israel, with emphasis on water management and sustainability. Jennifer follows design avidly and is a long-time hobbyist pilot licensed in multi-engine aircraft. She received her B.S. in Accounting from University of Arkansas; her M.A. in Urban Planning from UC-Irvine, and studied Environmental Design at Art Center College of Design.
In her spare time, she loves designing unique spaces, collecting mid-century modern furniture, and spending time with her husband, stepdaughters, and dog, Papi.
