MEMBER COMMITTEES  |  The Pacific Council ’s Member Committees organize programs and activities on particular countries or issue areas, in addition to the Pacific Council ’s regular event line-up. Member Committees are designed to both increase members’ substantive engagement on key issue areas and to deepen connections between members with similar interests. Committee members receive preferential access to committee activities and have the opportunity to define and help produce committee outputs; committee membership is complimentary and voluntary, and open to all Pacific Council members. There are currently active member committees focused on China, Equitable Globalization, National Security, and the Middle East; we anticipate launching committees on the Global Economy and the Western Hemisphere in 2013.
