Members of the Pacific Council enjoy the following benefits and opportunities:
The Pacific Council Network
The Pacific Council connects its members to a diverse network of global and globally-oriented leaders in the business, political, academic, and civic communities.
Programs and Other Activities
Pacific Council members are invited to a wide array of programs, including teleconferences, to exchange ideas and information on issues central to the global agenda. Conference calls, member committees, formal events, member-hosted forums, and other activities are designed to encourage engagement across the spectrum of members’ geographic locales.
Studies, Reports & Articles
Members of the Pacific Council gain full access to the Council’s intellectual resources, including a large body of timely reports and articles generated by our Task Forces, Committees, and distinguished individual members.
International Trips & Country Dialogues
The inaugural Pacific Council-Afghanistan Dialogue took place December 2009 in Kabul, Afghanistan. This was the first of numerous upcoming visits to global hot spots and places of concern and interest. The primary product of such trips is the ability of Pacific Council members to witness events and developments on the ground and to share insights from these experiences with other members of the Council. These fact finding missions are scheduled to occur approximately once per quarter.
Members Weekend
Widely hailed as the West Coast's premier foreign policy forum, this invitation-only annual event convenes high-level government officials from around the world, current and past U.S. government officials, leading thinkers, and key global business leaders for intimate discussions with the Pacific Council’s membership.
