15th Annual Members Weekend
Global Policy Challenges - Learning from the Past, Confronting the Future
October 1-2, 2010
Santa Monica
Recognized widely as the West Coast’s premier foreign policy forum, the Pacific Council’s Members Weekend is our signature annual event. With a format designed to be deeply engaging to all participants, this invitation-only summit convenes more than 250 business, government, civic, and academic leaders from around the world to analyze and debate the most important global policy issues of our time. The Weekend combines the best of all worlds: high-level policy addresses, lively discussion and debate, and opportunities to meet and interact with peers and colleagues against the backdrop of stunning sunsets and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
The Event:
- The Pacific Council Members Weekend is designed for interactivity and audience participation, from keynote to breakout sessions.
- Unless noted, all Members Weekend sessions are designed to be “off the record” to keep discussion lively and candid.
- The 2010 event will begin on the evening of Friday, October 1 with a welcome reception and keynote dinner. Our guest for the evening is expected to be a top-ranking U.S. government official, an international luminary, or a leading CEO or thought leader.
- The formal program will continue through Saturday, October 2. Saturday will be a full day that will begin with concurrent high-level plenary panels and culminate in a cocktail reception and dinner keynote address/interview.
