The Pacific Council hosted a luncheon discussion with Donald Voelte, Managing Director and CEO of Woodside Energy, Australia’s largest publicly-traded oil and gas exploration and production company. Mr. Voelte shared his insights on emerging and continuing challenges in the energy industry, and on prospects for meeting the growing global demand for clean energy.

Donald Voelte has more than 35 years of experience in the global oil and gas business. He worked for the Mobil Corporation for over 20 years, ending as Executive Vice President of New Exploration and Producing Ventures. Mr. Voelte was also Executive Vice President of International Exploration and Production for the Atlantic Richfield Company and Director, President and CEO of Chroma Energy Inc, a private exploration and production company.  In addition to his current role as Managing Director and CEO of Woodside, he is Director of the University of Western Australia Business School.
