Pacific Council on International Policy Internship Program


Program Description:
Those selected will complete projects in the departments of Programming, Membership and Special Projects. Tasks will include assistance with programming, writing, research, membership administration, and completing all other tasks assigned by Pacific Council staff. We prefer that interns work at least 10 hours a week in the Pacific Council offices in downtown Los Angeles. Days are flexible. This program is highly competitive.

Eligibility:
Eligible candidates must be in their junior or senior level of undergraduate courses, a graduate student, or a recent graduate of either and will/have receive/d a degree in political science, public policy, public affairs, economics, public health; must have a strong academic record; and must be eligible to work at least 10 hours a week in the Pacific Council office in downtown Los Angeles. Candidates should have an interest in international policy and a commitment to the Pacific Council’s mission. You must submit your application before January 1, 2011. Candidates identified as finalists will be notified and interviewed by telephone or in person during January. Internship offers will be extended no later than January 28, 2011. New applications for the Spring 2011 program will be accepted only after December 1, 2010.
